This is a week with a lot of food entries . . .
Otto's birthday treat was to go to A Ma Table, a restaurant in our neighborhood. It is an unassuming restaurant that can serve about 20 people. Today there were only 8 people. The menu for the day was plaice--a type of flatfish served over creamed leeks. It was very good.
Dessert: an almond tart with a marmalade sauce and blood orange ice cream. And yes, this was very good too. The ice cream was so refreshing and not too sweet.
