Luc doing one of his favorite things-bouldering. So that you know, he is not on the edge of any precipice there.
This past Friday and Saturday we went to Villard de Lans, a small village in the Vercors region, 1 hr. out of Grenoble. We hiked up to the Col Vert (the "green pass"), a 2 hour hike up from the village into the mountains--about 600 meters (1800 ft.) up. For some the climb was challenging but for everyone it was well worth the view of the Grenoble below. We stayed in a gem of a hotel, built in the late 19th century.
